snapped valve cover bolt
i was checking my valve train because of excessive noise and i hand tightened the middle bolt on the left side of the valve cover and when i put the ratchet on and barely gave it a tighten it popped. so right now im left with a bolt in the head and asking what to.
i was thinking of using an e.z. but idk if they make one small enough
also i have an appointment of friday at werks to get my tune fixed, u think ill be able to drive down there (45minutes) and be safe and have them fix it?
thanks

If all of the rest of the bolts are in there and torqued right I bet you can go 45 minutes with no problems.
Sounds funny but see if you can get a tiny pen screw driver on it and turn it out. I've seen that done before. There's not a lot of torque in that.

The threaded part that remains will probably be loose but you will probably have to remove the cover and turn it out with a pliers .
If you cant get a pliers on it because it's sheared of flush you might try tapping it out with a sharp center punch and a hammer and I mean tap.
You do this by setting the center punch to one side of the broken bolt and tapping the center punch in a
Counter clockwise direction( the point of the center punch turns the bolt when tapping it with the hammer)
Keep rotating the punch with the bolt as it turns.
