Start with the flex pipe. A LOT of people find that there's a hole in it. It could be a gasket, but like I said, I'd check the flex pipe first. That's the most common exhaust leak source.

Mine has been making a hissing sound when I accelerate and it's incredibly annoying. Sounds like a vacuum leak almost. It's not the exhaust, either.

I can look to see if there are any open recalls or anything associated to your car if you wanted to get me the last 8 digits of your VIN in a PM.

Its not the flex, its coming from inside the engine bay. My 06 ss/sc has aways made that sound its on the low rpms and has something to do with the engine itself. Mine did it since day 1 wit 0.2 miles on it and i went through everything looking for the same issue. 6 yrs later and in the low rpms it still makes that sound and i jus broke 30k

If you don't figure it out you're more than welcome to come to the mod day and I can take a crack at it.

dude it has to be a leak i sealed mine about 3 weeks ago and it just went bad last week, they told me that i have to replace the exhaust manifold.its an annoying noise i think the best is just getting a new manifold cuz im pretty sure the noise will come back again

I had a similar noise. At idle it was fine but with any throttle input, especially under boost it would sound like static coming from the P/S door speaker. I found it hard to check the flex, it seemed fine at idle and under load when trying to hear and feel for leaks. I replaced the down pipe anyways and it solved the problem. Get yourself a pipe from zzp, price is cheap and awesome quality.

i get that grumble noise when accelerating or running anthing under 2200 rpms...like if i shift to early into 5th or sumitn or in 2nd going really slow, when the rpm's are under 2200, engine makes a grumblin noise, dident notice it until around 30k or so..idk, never really noticed it. i have a 07, 105k on it now. still makin the same noise.

I have the zzp long tube header and downpipe combo. Still makes that noise. I initially thought it was my timing chain slapping around but that got replaced under warranty a month ago. And the noise was still there afterwards. I just got used to it.
