I have had my spec stage 3+ clutch installed for a little over a month and have had problems with shifting ever since. I let one of the techs at my work take it for a testdrive a couple of days ago to see what he thought about it, and when he got back it would barely go into gear.we finally took the tranny off today at the shop and saw that the clutch was in three pieces and my flywheel was burnt. Has anyone had this problem and what do you guys think spec will do about it. i work at a dealership and had it installed by a certified tech and have all the paperwork. shouldnt they have to pay for me to get a new flywheel or what? i will call spec on monday and see what they will do but just want to see what you guys think about this

sorry to hear that man, I have heard nothing bad bad things from spec.

- Mutiple threads intitles "spec clutch slipping"
- Self had S3 spec clutch in his Turbo SS and its now slippin and **** because of the HP he's pushin.

Def call spec and ask WTF

i've always had good luck with spec. when the tech drove it he didnt shift it into neutral and let it come to a stop did he? i've seen clutches come apart from doing that.

yea i put a new throw out bearing and resurfaced my flywheel
