Squeak solved...
...in my case at least. I was doing the armrest install and noticed that there was no squeak when I had removed the upper console trim pieces. When I finished the install and remounted the trim pieces, I put electrical tape over the metal inserts on the trim pieces. I took it for a good spin and no squeaks at all. And the armrest definetly should have come with our cars.

Ya, I had the dealer throw one in for free when I ordered mine. It's a MUST have !!!
