squeaks :(
I don't own an SS but I do own a Chevy Cobalt couple ls. Everytime I go over a pothole (no, I can't avoid them--there's sooo many!) my car makes this "squeak". it sounds like it comes from the front driver's side. i had it serviced and he said it was the bushings--said that they weren't properly lubricated. he claimed to have fixed it and it is slightly better but I still hear a SQUEAK every time. it doesn't happen when i go over bumps (speed bumps, etc) just when I go into a pot hole. ;/ any suggestions? anyone else have this problem? i'm going to go over to the dealership monday but was just wondering if this was a common problem.
I don't think this is really a problem. Cars make noises like that sometimes; we can't really avoid them. Its a new car, of course, but when you go over stuff like potholes, I would expect some sort of sound.
Now, if you hear a "snap, crackle, pop" kind of sound going over these potholes, I would suggest: 1) Not going over them, and 2) Making sure something isn't broken
BTW, welcome to the site!
