SS/TC 2 CEL's

I was driving and I wanted to do a 2nd-3rd NLS, and something happened. I don't know exactly what. But, the car didn't NLS. So I said ok, I put it in 3rd, and punched it. It hit like 20 psi just like I should have.

Then less than 2 minutes later, the car just started to buck and bog while doing like 70 mph cruising. So I pulled off the road, and I threw 2 CEL's

P0099 Intake Air Temperature 2 Circuit Intermittent/Erradic
P0238 Turbo Boost Sensor A Circuit High

I have the GMS1 with a Hahn Intake, Hahn Mod-Pipe catless with E-Cutout, Dejon Hot-Side Charge Piping with an HKS BOV running atmospherically.

The latest part I put on was the Intake and that has been on for about 3 weeks.

I saw somebody else posted a thread just like this, and he said it was his lower TMAP Sensor, but he just came from the dealership. I have had my GMS1 for like 5 months, and about 4,000 miles...

Anybody? Thanks!

Most likely what happed has to do with with the wiring of the T-Map on the coldside CP. It is the boost sensor referenced by the P0238 code and it is also the same sensor that monitors IAT2 temperatures so the P0099 is also referencing this same sensor. The wires are likely touching each other or they have come loose. Get a flashlight and if you have a floor jack it might help to get under and take a closer look at where they connected those wires for your T-Map sensor. You might need to pull back the wire loom a few inches to see where they connected wires for the new connector. I think you yanked the wires loose.

Thanks man! I don't know if that is the issue or not, but I have an appointment at the dealership tomorrow, and I will tell them what you said. And hopefully that is the problem. Thank-you soooo much!

I put my hand down there, and pushed in, and just messed around with the wires and sensor, and guess what happened today when I got in it & punched it in 2nd????

20 psi

You are the man!!!!!! End of May I'm taking a trip up your way for a tune.

Glad you got it fixed. If it happens again I suggest redoing the connections yourself to make sure they are nice and tight. IIRC GM supplies butt style crimp connectors and if the tech who installed them was rushing through the install he might not have crimped them well enough. That is why I am installing my 3 bar maps myself. That way I know it is done right.
