SS/TC Brake Question

Hey just did my rear brakes but my one caliper seems to be grabbing more from the e brake than the other. Did this also with the old brakes. Don't know how to fix this.

Does the amount I turned in the the piston on each side matter? I did forget to clamp the brake line at first on the side that doesn't grab as fast.

Bleed your rear brakes.

Bled them. No air.

Left side seems like it doesn't release fully. Don't know what is acceptable.

Right side seems fine but e brake won't grab at all. Cable moves all the way but it doesn't do a thing. Normal brakes hold though.

Did you make sure both of the lines are hooked up under the e brake cover? And do the brakes grab with the pedal?

Yup. Both cables are connected. The right side(one that doesn't work) actually moves farther.

Got the left side to stop binding. Compressed the piston further. E brake engages after 3 or so clicks.

And yes brakes grab with the pedal.

That's what I'm thinking. Probably got iced up and stretched during winter. I just went for my first drive with my new brakes and seemed ok.

Waiting for them to cool and then gonna get my Dad to walk beside the car to hear if anything is dragging.

Replace the caliper.

I have had both of my rear calipers replaced due to issues with the e-brake. Unfortunately since the ebrake mechanism is built into the caliper there is no other way to replace just it or to make any adjustments.
