Before I invest in the ZZP stage 3 kit, for my 06 cobalt ss/sc, I was wondering if any of you guys have Stage 3??? How is it? Have you had and problems with it? Is it a good buy?

im in the same shoes as you. ha ive been asking and blah blah. people get mad if you ask this telling u to do research and ull find 100 threads for this ha. watever. anyway ill help u from wat ive heard. people keep saying that the parts are great and no problems. the only thing people recommend is dont even waste your money one the PCM they have. everyone says get a custom tune with it if you can. the zzp PCM may be ok with your car but sometimes the car wont run good. so its a risk. not to mention a custom tune is always better. if your like me your trying to be a little money conciese and if you dont NEED a custom tune you wont. but the more research you do youll find that a custom tune is soooo worth it. so i hope i helped buddy.

 

I have the ZZP Stage 3.

It's a decent kit, it doesn't come with a real GM belt if you order the belt, and mine **** out in like 3000 miles. The tune on it does suck, I just got HPtuners and I'm going to learn how to tune.

Get the 2.8 and 60lb injectors, find a real GM Stage 2 Belt from someone else, and get the Stage 3 HE.

Or OTTP has a similar kit but theirs is "Stage 2" and it comes with a real GM Stage 2 belt.
