starting problems

okay guyus so lately my car hasn't been starting. Every time it takes about 7 to 10 cranks before it starts. sometimes it'll start for like half a second and then it'll die again kinda like it does whenever you don't do the safety feature or whatever where you have to unlock the car twice before starting but dies a lot quicker. I thought it was because of the cold weather but then it got hotter again and still doing that. If someone could please help me out I wouold be very much appreciated...

thannks----ashley

i'm just not sure i don't want to take it in and them look at it and say it's due to my subs because i know that they'll try and blame it on that.

It sounds like a fuel issue to me. Is your car still under warranty?

yes it's still under warranty and we really don't want to take the subs out because it took us an hour almost to try and fit the **** in there because the trunk is so freakin small..

if it takes an hour, is it worth it to you to get everything fixed for free??

no they won't blame it on that...your subs have nothing to do with anything but your recharging system in your car, I'm under the impression that they are powered off the battery or at least the amp is......and if they're powered by the stereo...you would blow that fuse before it ever damaged anything..... remember they have to provide you in writing the how your modification caused the failure of the part. If they don't in the end the dealership will pay your legal fees and still fix the car under warranty.

and yes it does sound like fuel pressure problem.....fuel pump or pressure regulator issue.........
