steering column and esa issues
Just curious if anyone else has ever experienced a problem like this before, or has any input. As the issue has already been solved. But I brought my vehicle which is still under warranty to the dealership because I was tired of someone of the rattles. They replaced a sway bar link and my entire steering column. As I am driving the vehicle home, I accelerate through a corner (not hard acceleration to create loss of traction just normally), and my ESA start blinking like crazy and wont turn off. I get to a red light and begin slowing down and I can feel the car braking by itself and the ABS kicking in. I get to a complete stop, finally the ESA stops blinking, I start heading back to the dealership, and as soon as I reach about 3-4000rpm the light comes back on. The tech and I drove around in it for a while and he ran a bunch of scans on it and couldnt figure out what the issue was. He then reset the steering trims/sensors, whatever he called them and I never saw the light again. It seems that now even if I rip it through a corner hard I'll get the traction control kicking in but never the ESA.
