Angry STICKY left turn? Help

ok so ive been experiencing this problem probably since i got the car with 40k miles already on it.
08 ls 5 speed coupe
i just got h&r sports and Fe5 shocks/struts.
basically if i make a left hand turn when the when im coming out of the turn the wheel does not re center itself. i have to pull it back straight so i dont go on the other side of the road. there are smaller instances even when i go alittle bit over the yellow center on the road the car just kind of wants to pull really aggressively towards the left, another would be going around a bend(LEFT) the car will pull its way to the center of the road. idk what it could be at all.

at first i though maybe alignment. but i just got one done yesterday and i still have the same exact issue. also my steering wheel is not 100% straight its slightly to the left it was like this before i got the springs so i dont think it was from the drop.

now need i mind you i DO NOT have this problem at all with right hand turns. but it bugs me to death and im going back to get a realignment tomorrow to see double check. if anyone has anything on this please let me know.

when the wheel doesnt return thats normally a caster issue, try getting an alignment. when you lower your car it changes all your alignment angles more than you think, so it could be because of your drop.

Strut mount bearing would do that. Not saying it's the problem, but don't throw it out the window as a possibility. It's entirely likely you didn't get it seated right when you did the springs.

i always hate bringing back dead threads, but i also hate adding new threads for topics that have already been talked about.

i sorta have this problem too. i don't notice it as much going around turns but i mostly notice how it wants to pull pretty hard to the left going down a straight road. it started right after i put my yyz v2s on my LT, but even after i got an alignment it didn't change.

i considered that something in the steering linkage might be loose, but the tiniest movement of the steering wheel causes the wheels to move so i don't think that's it, although there is some clunking going on.

i considered that it may somehow be torn control arm bushings (although i'm not really sure how that would make it pull only left). but that doesn't explain the timing; it started right after i lowered it. my cabs don't look torn, but there's a lot of clunking when turning and starting and stopping, and i've replaced just about everything else up front.

it's possible that i didn't put the struts back together correctly. would the upper spring seat being turned the wrong way cause it? and it could be the strut mount bearing... i heard there's a right side up, but i don't know how to tell.

i read that my bf goodrich g-force sport comp2s have a tendency to follow grooves and whatnot in the pavement, but i don't think there are grooves on every road that just go left. plus it started doing this before i got these tires.

there's no shaking or anything, just pulls to the left, even after an alignment.

The strut mount comes off and must go on the exact same you can turn it by accident and itll bind when turning. Most stock mounts will have an arrow pointing to face the outer part of strut where bolts go thru as reference. Hope thats helps ive dont it before where the mount spun and for the life of me couldnt figure it out till someone showed me.

Well that fixed it. Mine were off so I fixed them and it tracks straight now. Except im not sure, but it kinda seems like at interstate speeds it still wants to pull left so I don't know what that means. But maybe it has to do with the road or maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Double check alignment possible caster camber pull or just tire pull. At least its not hangin up while turning now.

Well after driving it for a while it seems that it's 97% fixed. It must be tire pull because its only on certain roads, not certain speeds. And it's getting rarer and rarer. There's just a hint of not wanting to self center. But since my tires have a reputation for pulling, I'm gonna chock it up to that.

But god I love driving my car!
