Stock exhaust pulled away from manifold...

Has this happened to anyone else? i was pulling out into heavy traffic, and got on it pretty hard, and it was like someone just removed the exhuast from the car. as soon as i got home, i felt around the gasket area, with the motor running, and could feel the exhaust coming out from the side. I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else, and if anyone has an idea what the hell i did to it.

You can actually get a stronger gasket, i forgot what it is made out of, maybe someone can help me out here, there is actually i few you can choose from that are made out of different materials, check your local auto parts store, your dealer, or exhaust shop.

this is just an update... I took it to the dealership after calling around and finding the dealership was the only place to get an exhaust gasket. well....the service guy took one look at it and said you dont need a gasket.... you need two and a new cat. seem the flex pipe is conected to the pipe the cat is part of. I didnt know that, some of you here Im sure do. Anyway, that entire pipe and cat is over 400 bucks, but it is warrented until 80k miles, so its a freebie fix, thank God! so anywho...they said 5 days till the part gets here and not to drive it do to the engine would be running lean, dont wanna burn a valve, so shes parked till i get it fixed. thanks shortbus for your input, i am looking into some after market gaskets, but couldnt find any yet. anybody know where to get them, let me know....

Due to engine movement.
