Stock Rotors

I know theres a post on here somewhere about this but I cant find it.. I bought my car in September, 06 Cobalt SS. I havent had any problems yet except for my rotors. After about 2500 miles my ABS light kept coming on when ever I braked, so I checked my rotors & I noticed my front rotors were warped & full of grooves. So I took it in to the dealership & they "trued" the rotors & sanded down the brake pads. I asked them now what if it happens again here shortly, they said then its on you, You must be riding the brakes. I had my mechanic look at them & he said they shouldnt look like that even if I had been riding the brakes for all those miles. Well now at 3250 miles my front rotors & brakes are shot again. Should I take it to another dealership & see what they say or should I just go aftermarket?

Brakes are made to use. I dont understand what he means by "riding". I keep seeing GM rotors warp. Mine just needed a good clean. My abs light comes on once in a while but never come on when there actually active. I just Ignore it.
