strange problem

my 06 pursuit gt pulls hard to the left if u let the wheel go, and it's not after a little while it's right away, i've had it to 3 different dealers and they can't figure out whats wrong, the last place i went to said that the performance suspension and performance tires would cause that which is a load of ****, what i think is wrong is no one knows whats wrong and doesn't want to admit it. anyone else have any trouble like this? if so how did u solve it?

That's easy bro. If you let the wheel go on a nice flat and straight road and it pulls to the left then it's your allignment. You just need to get an allignment done.

Ok then it could also be uneven tire wear. Try rotating the tires. If it starts pulling to the right after you do that then you know it's uneven tire wear.

I just had a quick scan down through the service bulletins here at work and nothing matches what you described. I'm having a bit of the same problem. When i'm stopped at a red light and then press on the gas to accelerate on the green the car pulls to the left and I have to straighten the wheel. Getting a bit annoying. I will ask one of the service advisors and see what they think. I will let you know if I find anything out.

The problem you are discribing isn't a problem. It's called torque steer. Every front wheel drive car has it. Your car is 100% OK.

yeah i know about the torque steer but mine is doing this at highway speeds or any speed for that matter, tires have been rotated, there isn't any wear on the tires, it's got a lot of people scratching their heads.

I think that would have been caught by an alignment, but who knows? I hope a shop would notice it.

check your tie rods or ball joints. possibly check for wear on your tires.
