Strange Steering Problem

Hi All. Something very strange has started to happen with my 06 SS/SC. The other day i was stopped at a red light, first in line. I proceeded to go when the light turned green and as soon as I did the steering wheel jerked completely to the right and almost sent me into the Ford Ranger in the next lane. Have you guys ever heard of this? The car is out of warranty now otherwise I would take it in but the dealership told me over the phone that it could be a bad EPS module. Also lately when I hit a hard enough bump in the road the car will just die, and the cluster goes completely blank, but the car will always start back up. I dont know if this is related or not, just want to see what you guys think.

Thanks

Do you have a lot of keys attached to your key chain?
If you have a lot of weight loading down the ignition, a hefty bump in the right direction could possibly turn the car off.

As for the steering wheel, are you sure it isnt torque steer?

Ya this is just the car being sensitive to ruts and inclines on roads... I noticed this too and it's normal. The steering wheel moves like crazy if you let your hand off the wheel and the road slants or has ruts in it...
