Supercharge noise

A few times lately whenever I have the car parked overnight then start it up, there is a grinding noise that comes from the supercharger. It does this for a couple minutes then goes away whenever the car warms up some. Anyother time it sounds normal with no grinding or excessive noise. For a car that is all stock with 12K miles I would not be expecting this at all. Is this normal for the Eaton S/Cs on the LSJs, or have any of you all had your superchargers replaced for what I am describing.

anyone else notice in like 25 degrees or colder you get more boost. Dont flame i know that the air is denser and all. I am see like 13.5 to 14 psi now, I love it. Back on topic, mine makes it too.

With the stock tune it should bypass anything over 12.5 psi . Maybe when cold the bypass valve is sticking , or the gauge is wrong .
