Sweet, so...coolant display is all dashes now....

Threw a code coming home friday around 2pm.....I went down to checkers and the guy on staff there was being a douschebag and wouldn't read the code for me, and then the autozone down the street couldn't connect to it and then the next checkers "doesn't read codes."

I am not renting the tool as all of the douschebags said they do....

basically I got a cel when my coolant display now switched to three dashes instead of reading a temp, then it went back to reading the temp right and then went back and is currently at the three dashes....bleh POS....any ideas guys?

I have plenty of coolant and the surge tank has extra in it...just replace the thermostat????

Its a sensor error. Mine did it as well. My DIC said low coolant when I knew it was full. Took it to the dealer, they had the car for 20 mins and hasn't done it since.

Check the wiring to the coolant sensor for damage. If it's not the wiring, it's probably the sensor going bad.
