Thoughts on a problem?
So i have 2 sets of HID kits for the headlights and the fog lights. The one for the headlights i've had for about 2 years now. well a couple weeks ago i noticed they flickered alot until they eventually didnt turn on. well i looked through and realised the relay had alot of corrosion on it. so i replaced the relay after scrubbing off the relay plug in and we where good to go.
Now last weekend i realise i have a light out on the passenger side. figured i would wait till i had time and it was warm to look into this. well today i realise both where out so i decided to check it out, at first thought the bulb could of been blown checked it out, there good, fuses good, relays good. so i thought maybe it was the ballast.
foglights still work so i hook up the ballast for the fogs to the driver side headlight and look there it works i figured it was the ballast was bad. so i go over to do the same thing on the passenger side get done turn it on and, driver side comes on but he passenger side doesnt. it'll flick on like it wants to then turn off.now the driver side does it to wtf!?!? tried replacing fuses, relays, switch ballasts, nothing i'm truely baffled. good power sources good ground sources, mounted under the headlight housing. any ideas on this? i may try to just rewire the whole damn thing tomorrow if it still dont work will probabaly get rid of the shity kit and order another from 3bspec or somthing. any help would be awesome, even if you have nothing to add i appreciate you taken the long ass time to read all this

lets see you figure the amount of corrosion thats still on there increases the resistance, resistanace goes up current goes down, so i dont beleive a higher amp relay will help me on this one, maybe it doesnt have enough current to trip the relay and hold it?

makes sense cause the corrosion is taking away contact area that closes the circuit so all of the current is trying to got threw less area causing more resistance i say try it.

Resistance goes up you will get a voltage drop across the resistance, and this is what creates issues
If the are flickering put your finger on the relay to see if its buzzing.
If the voltage is to low the ballasts wont start and will flicker relay could do the same if there is not enough voltage to hold the coil in.
