trouble accelerating uphill

I have an 07 and sometimes when trying to accelerate uphill or even when trying to push down on the accelerate to get the trans to downshift the engine has trouble downshifting and revs up and down. What could be the trouble?

he was most likely going to flame you for A) posting in problems and service rather than the L61 or LAP sections or B) flame you for having a 2.2, saying no **** you have problems going uphill.

but he held back.

lol

back to the topic at hand though. how many miles are on your automatic trans? maybe its just normal delay and you just happened to notice it now? or is it like the engine is trying to downshift and staying in between gears too long thus creating the fluctuation in your RPMs.

give us more info. we need to know a bit more than what you're telling us. does the trans shift fine on flat ground, what kind of hills are we talking about, does the trans free rev when trying to downshift.

spill it!

i know how all these LSJ owners think :P

and damn you got down to 12.75 in the quarter? i wish you didn't live so far away. i'd love to pit you against my uncle in his E60 M5. they run like 12.4. lol.

if you beat him he would cry. he thinks his car is the fastest thing on 4 wheels. lol

It dont really bother me. I know the 2.2 aint exactly the fastest engine but it has enough power for what i need it for. And it is a problem so it is in the right section. Its kinda hard to explain the problem i wish i could have someone take a look at it. It drives fine on a flat surface. Has approximately 25k miles on it. Services are up to date. Basically the problem is it is reluctant to downshift meaning it seems like it doesnt want to downshift sometimes.

that's most likely just PE delay. it's normal. PE delay makes your car wait longer to do anything that's related to making more power. i noticed that after Trifecta tuned out PE delay that my car takes hills like a champ.

i actually prefer the 2.4 over the 2.2 L61. I had a 06 saturn ion with the 2.4 but my ******* had to total it.
