trouble with reverse lockout

hey guys i just got my hurst short throw shifter and i love it the only problem is its very hard to get it into reverse i can see that it rubs real bad and iwas wondering what kind of advice you guys have to fix this problem or if it will just wear itself down

you need to readjust the cables...pull the cupholder out and pop the snaps that hold the shifter cables...play around with them a little til it moves into R without trouble

yep play with the white cables... i believe the left one controls left to right movement

pop out the snap on the left cable with the car in neutral.. then move the shifter a tad to the left and pop the clip back in. and repeat until it feels good to you. that should takecare of it. if it doesnt work moving it left then move it to the right.
