I traded for the Highrise and I was wondering if anybody knew if there was a way to adjust the trunk gas struts or hinge mechanism to aid in opening the trunk a little more.

My trunk barely pops as it is with the stock low spoiler so the added weight of the highrise will make it worse.

Any input would be appreciated.

You have to replace them with higher pressure struts. GM dealer can get you the right ones, dont buy them based on your VIN, tell them to look it up based on year model and choose the right ones from the list.
