Trunk Lock Removal

I am pressed for time and I need to get my trunk lock out. How do you do it, I made another thread but no one seems to be reading it and i could really use some assistance. They were syaing there is some type of clip that you pull horizontally? horizontally would mean right to left

A little help...

Look inside the trunk at the inside of the lock. There is a metal clip. I believe it's U shaped. You grab and pull it straight down. It puts pressure against the lock against the truck lid. Once removed the lock pulls out the outside of the trunk lid

It's because you have never done it.

Look inside the trunk and you will see this. One side of the metal clip has a tab you grab and pull. Should pull it left or right I don't remember

That big tab is what you pull on. It's just a wedge between the lock and the trunk lid. Very easy. You are gonna laugh when you get it out.

Yes now edit your title to say. "Trunk Lock Removal" So someone else can find this.

Someone showed me how and it was just too easy.
