Turbo lag or something else.
I gotta 2009 SS TC and it has about 460 miles on it so far
it almost seams like in third gear it is like its starving for air . I don't know much about turbos but if you aren't into the throttle that much giving it boost does the turbo make the engine almost pulsate real slowly like your loosing power then its back almost in about 3 second intervals ?? or is this a misfire ?
Stupid question but I am familiar with naturaly asperated v8's
Thanks

What RPM is this happening at?
Off topic, I see you have Silver Ice Metallic. Good choice! lol
I have Ultra Silver Metallic (2008).... anyone know if those are exactly the same or slightly different?

Hard to tell exactly what's going on from your description, but I would honestly wait until you get some more miles on the car...I've been seeing a lot of "is this normal" stories from cars with under 1000 miles, and they all pretty much clear up. Seems this car has a pretty intrusive nanny mode for the scheduled "break-in" period.
Only thing I noticed when stock is during full throttle runs in 3rd, the boost would waiver between 14 and 16, and you would feel it as the car kind of lunged every second or so during accel. I blame this on the pcm's attempt at limiting the torque to its 260 figure based on airflow readings.
Of course, with a tune, that flies right out the window.

Yeah, just keep driving and paying attention to it. Although if at any point you get a CEL, bring it on in.

car should have any lag at all,if any it is barely noticable.,,since the car car has alot of trq it helps eliminate the feel of lag,so it barely has any until 3k and thats when the turbo starts taking over

Yeah I dont think it's that critical just annoying I am just to busy driving then looking for all the aftermarket stuff plus that stuff all takes time and money so what about a tune I heard HPtuners suck from a world class rear end shop in montreal canada . IE: they dont tune it to how you might really want it.
Whats the best option so far?

HPTuners essentially costs as much as the tuner charges, and is as good as the tuner, unless you do it yourself. If you research, you will get a better tune for less money form someone that knows the HPTuners software.
