turn signals
turn signals
I mentioned this problem in the "removing the steering wheel" thread but I decided to start another thread because service couldn't fix it.
I just finished installing a new steering wheel and when I drove it for the first time, the blinkers wouldn't shut off after completing the turn and straightening the wheel like they should. It's happening for left and right turns.
I took it to service and they said they could cover it under warrenty. When it was finished, I asked him what was wrong and he said some things weren't hooked up right, he wasn't too specific. well I only removed the steering wheel which involved unplugging the airbag and horn, nothing to do with the signals. and as I pulled into my neighborhood, the blinkers started acting up again.
It seems to me that everytime I add something to my car, I mess something else up, even if I didnt' touch it. Is this a common thing for cobalts??
My dad always tells me I should have never bought an american car because of their lower quality and I would hate for the cobalt to prove him right because I like the car a lot. sorry to get so off topic.
