So I have a 2006 SS supercharged and the guy I bought it from said if I wanted to do any upgrades I’d need to tune it. Is this true even for a simple cat-back exhaust? He put on an aftermarket shifter and muffler and that’s it and I wanna make it a little louder

 

You don't need a tune for an exhaust.
