Ok, so i've got a 06 ss/sc that hasn't given me much trouble. However, i'm trying to sell it now, and of course as murphys law has it, stuff goes wrong. The car randomly started doing this the other day. It has lost all power. I go to jump it with another car, starts up and runs fine. as soon as you turn it off, it looses all power and goes completely dead (i mean dead, not even a dome light goes on). I put the voltage reader on the batter while it was running and it was reading around 14 volts, so the alternator is charging the batter fine, batter just wont start the car.... any ideas??? is there some kind of Power fuse?

 

New Battery?

 

Bust out the multimeter and see if you have something draining power while the car is turned off.

 

clean the terminals and the connections on the fuse box and the starter
