Vibrating/noise that varies with speed

When driving over about 35mph I just recently started getting this humming sound and a little bit of a vibration that varies with the speed I'm going. At first I thought it might be my tires as I just got down to the wear bar, but then realized that it may be my bearings. It seems to only be coming from the passenger side but its hard to tell.

Anyone have any thoughts on a quick way to check if its my bearing?

if its kind of a howling sounds at certain speeds i'd vote that its a hub bearing

Wonderful... what are the negative side effects of running on it for a while? I wanna switch to 5x1XX in a little bit so I don't wanna dish out cash for new hubs just to switch em

I had same issue. Ran over a few thousand miles with no issue other than knowing what speed I was going by how loud it was, then I figured it out. However, upon inspection they docked me on a loose sway bar link on that side. So it will affect other components if left go for too long. Jack up the car and get the tire off the ground, shift to neutral and hold the spring as you spin the tire. If the spring vibrates, that's the hub bearing that's bad.

Wonder if this would be covered under warranty or if this is a standard wear item. Guess I'll have to take it into the dealer to find out

Find a curvy road. If the hum goes away or lessens, wheel bearing is bad on the side you're turning to.

Most likely. I bought used 5x114.3 hubs from 07 and one went bad within 200 miles... I guess that's a risk you take with used hubs.

I think I may have narrowed it down to my CV axle. I forgot that the boot had torn about 2 years ago and I never replaced it. I'm gonna replace it probably this weekend and get back with you guys
