W active or W/O

Hi
I have cobalt ss 2010 tc
I want to buy brake pads and hub bearing and rotor noticed a difference in the brake W active and W/O What is the difference I'm afraid that does not match

But stock pads and rotors from Amazon. They pretty cheap and work best on the car
