weird brake problem

weird brake problem
so it only happened 2 times yet but wanna know what could be the problem.
when i start de car some time the 2-3 first time i hit the brake i need to press very hard on the pedal to make the car brake....after that it works fine the rest of the ride.
any though ?

Two possibilities.
The rotors are damp from moisture, and need to be cleared via applying the brakes.
If the car is an SS Turbo, the engine doesn't produce much vacuum upon startup, which means the brakes will be harder to apply than normal when you first leave in the morning.

I would say its normal to most cars and any car with Brembos especially.
If the car sits overnight in humid conditions, a light layer of rust will form on the rotors. It won't be easily visible but it'll be there. That has to burn off before you get full grip. Also I think the brembo brakes up front work best when they're hot.

Yes.
Start the car, don't touch the throttle, and watch the vacuum gauge. It will start out at around 5 inches, and slowly work its way down to 20 inches after it idles down.
When its at low vacuum, you have less power for the vacuum brakes to provide assist, which makes the pedal harder to push.
