what cable does what?

alrite so i'm still trying to avoid haveing to take the car to the dealer to get the loose linkige problum solved.....can anybody give me any tips on this?

like what cable does what? what cable i could adjust to take the slack out of forward and backward motin ONLY.....

any help with this would help me alot. thanks people

CP the pics dont tell me what cable is responceable for the forward and backward on the shift pattern.....thats what i need to know cuz thats all that has to be adjusted



anybody else know?

Easy way to find is to follow the steps until the one that says to lock the shifter in nuetral. Now move the shifter forward and back and see which cable moves. Now follow the directions for tightening the cable which looks as though its very easy, all you have to do is press that button. Does that make sence?
