What could be wrong with my car?

For roughly the past month, my car has been running terribly. Every once in a while it would boost on its own when i would barely be on the gas. When I would be climbing a hill and in low boost the boost gauge would be sparatic as if it were having trouble reading boost. You could hear the car building boost then letting off the pressure even though my foot was steady. I knew it had to be the map sensor and would get Data Not Available on the RPD. I checked the top map sensor and it had a film of oil on it. Cleaned it with carb cleaner and the problem would go away for a day or so.

Two weeks ago the car would turbo flutter at random and would start jerking as if I kept getting on and off the gas really quick. It now boosts on its own at least once a day and bucks. The turbo flutter has gone away for now. If I shut the car off for a couple minutes the problem would go away. The codes that were thrown are P0236, P0106, and P013E. The dealership is saying that GM tech assistance wont help them try to find the problem because I have a K&N SRI which they say is causing the map sensor to get oil on it and cause the car to act the way it is. I pulled the maf sensor and its completely dry so I doubt its the intake. Could this be because of a bad map sensor? Possible wastegate issue? Also, what would cause the top map sensor to be getting oil on it? The dealer said to bring the car back in with the stock air box on and then they can get help from GM tech assistance. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

How many miles on your car? Any other mods besides K&N SRI? Tune? What gas are you running on? Any major maintenance that happened lately? All those things might help you get a better answer...

I'm having basically the same issues as you except I'm throwing the P0101 as well. Dealers always blame the K&N to cover themselves when they don't fix your car. You can get an oil catch can to catch the blowby so that your sensors won't get coating. But then again I have one and am having these problems. My car will also stutter really bad. I'll be at constant throttle and the RPMs will just drop and come back up making the car buck.

Anyone who can help offer some insight to this issue please chime in.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. I would check that everything it tight.

My father in laws mazda tribute drove very similar (obviously not boosted), but the intake manifold gasket was going out. When the gasket was cold it would flop, after awhile of driving or romping on the gas would causing the car to drive nice and smooth.

Replaced the gasket, no more leak.

P0236 = Boost Sensor Error
P0106 = Intake Manifold reading Absolute Pressure.

Those two codes are what leaves me to believe a vacuum leak somewhere.

Is what you're referring to the same thing as a boost leak? I did a boost leak test this weekend and didn't really find anything. Or are you talking about the vac lines that go to the lower charpe pipe, intake manifold, and BPV?

Just under 25k. Mods are in my sig. I always run 93 octane. Only thing I've done recently is an oil change.
