What the Hell?

For the record: i Have no power windows/locks, no alarm, no auto starter

Ok today i went for a quick drive to 7/11 to grab some munchies and as i park my car and take the keys out, I rush out to the store but i still hear my engine running, i look in my hands and my keys are in my hands and the car is still on, now im standing there like what the ****, my car has a mind of its own, wtf.

I go back to the car to ensure the key cylinder is in off and indeed it was, still confused as hell. So i put the key in the cylinder, move it to off/acc/ign (repeat) and finally the car shuts off and i get the "transmission picture" pop up and stay on.

Same thing happens as i pull into my driveway and take the key out and the car still runs with the "transmission" picture.

So far i have an appointment to the dealership on monday.

Anyone know what the hell is going on?

I remember the first time I had an engine 'diesel' on me, scared the hell out of me. It's just such an unnatural thing for a car, something we take for granted, run when it isn't supposed to :p
