Wheel Center Cap Fell Off?
Wheel Center Cap Fell Off?
Hey all... I was just browsing the newest pics on the Turbo-wax contest thread when I came across a pic of an orange SS 2.4 with a missing wheel center cap.
Well... I have the same problem... damn thing just mysteriously dissapeared one day, so the car looks a little ghetto on that side...
The local dealer's got one on order for me...
So, have any of the rest of y'all had this problem? If so, has it happened more than once?
I may order a few extra caps just so I can have spares.

I don't plan on paying anything for it... hopefully it'll be covered under warranty. There's obviously some kind of problem with the thing falls off at less than 5000 miles.
And it better not take long for my dealer to get mine... they've got till the end of the week before I tell them to take one off of the SS they've got sitting on the lot.

Well... good news and bad....
Good news: part came in today.... it's just a simple plastic piece that clips in easily... reminds me a lot of the badged part of the steering wheel...
Bad news: not covered under warranty... and it's made in Italy... but thankfully it only cost $16... tax and all... so not too bad actually...
It's part number 9595100 and costs $14.83
I'm gonna check GM Parts Direct and maybe see about ordering atleast one more... just incase...
