15,000 kms, when i brake my wheel does a little wobble, doesnt pull to any side if i let go, but its slightly annoying, do my front rotors need resurfacing?

ive heard that our pads are really stiff and the rotors wear out long before them
my pads are practically brand new but they feel warped, no hard braking or abuse either

This happened to my 2.4SS. I took it to the dealer and they resurfaced my rotors under warranty....now after 800 miles the pads are cutting grooves in them again...

Too Many Hard Applications will cause the brakes to warp.

You need to "Turn" The disks. Call a shop and have them do it.

Then, stop driving like "Speedracer" or upgrade to big brakes.

i havent been driving like a speedracer, i read that the pads are way to hard for the rotors on this car and they just chew them up, my pads still look brand new.

and i dont need to rebalance my wheels for the other guy because it only happens when i brake, not when im driving at any speed.

^^ Well, no matter what happened, all it takes is one good hard application to overheat the steel and then it is possible that it warped a bit.

Did you ever lend out your car?

It's a fairly cheap process.

The dealer may have to sub-contract that jusb out depending on if they have the ability to do that or not..

Your rotors are warped, your dealer will machine them or replace them at no cost to you. It's warranty work do not pay.

seems like a lot of 2.4's are getting premature warped rotors. Mine just started at about 8k and its definaly not from abuse. Take it to the dealer, most have said they replaced them under warrentee, or get aftermarket rotors.

The rotors arent worn out they are defective. I worked at dealership in the service dept we replaced warped rotors under warranty.

Demand new rotors instead of resurfacing
