Hello all,

recently i had the tranny rebuilt because of 3rd gear synchro..
while they rebuilt i also told them to replace the clutch and everything so far is good.

when i purchased the car ( 2 months ago) i had rotors and breaks changed <- i had bad shaking on the wheel while breaking. so that was fixed too.

Now when on the highway as soon as i pop to 5th gear i have a little shake on the wheel..( its not huge but its definitely noticeable)
i know its not rotors or breaks because when i break it settles down.. AND rotors and breaks have less then 500km on them.

any ideas what this could be??

 

If u let go of my wheel it shakes .

 

Wheel weights could have fell off when changing the rotors and brakes. Try and get your wheels balanced

 

yeah, the tires and rims were balanced. found out that i was missing wheel centering rings

Happens to me all the time with my winter rims they get clogged up and out of balance.
