Has anyone had a problem with the stock 18" wheels chipping, seem that the clear coat is just flaking off in pieces. Please let me know if warranty should cover this, I bought the car a month ago.

 

I think just about everyone is having the problem, but stealerships are too big of dicks to fix it.

 

yes, it's a common problem, and my dealership fixed it, but one month later it started flaking again...so i just said screw it.

 

Yeah its pretty bad. One of them is peeling from rubbing the tire. I hit a curb yesterday and screwed one up good. There is no way they will replace them now. Fack! Hey, off topic, can we put 235s on the stock rims? I want to buy new one and sell my three mint factory rims to help with cost.

 

yup im in a huge fight with GM right now my dealership sent them out to get re-done they come back 10 times worse then i sent them out not only did they not do a good job but they only did half a job ... the inside of the rim were its suspsoe to be polished like the rest of the rim they did it flat black... and the whole face of the rim is all covered in fish eyes and there tones of little marks all over the wheel... i dont even think they sanded it down they just re-did the rim with otu sanding it and wahsing it...

so all in all im tyring to get gm to replace the rim because nwo my delaer is giving me a hard time to send it back...

 

dont have that problem yet, hopefully i will not

 

Mine were fixed on warranty by an aluminum wheel refinisher and they look great 6 months later
