are you stock? if it was just a little bit when you started the car, dont' worry about it. If it's excessive, and thick, that's different... but a little puff on a cold start is nothing to worry about

At about 7100 miles, I had to have the head replaced. There was a defect that in a water jacket by the seam. When it was originally blasted to smooth the casting seam, the person or machine got a little thin. Keep an eye on your coolant level. If it starts to go down, take it to a dealer.

ok... here goes - again.
white smoke, early startup, cold day = condensation in exhaust evaporating. you're actually seeing steam.
blue(ish) smoke, anytime = lean or indesperate need of an oil change!!! usually accompanied by knock followed by BOOM or *SIEZE*
black smoke, anytime = rich, you're ok but losing power like mad - get tuned.

yea... i'm thinking it's just moisture.... like i said earlier, as long as it's not all the time, or extremely thick, i wouldn't worry about it so much... my car always smokes when it's cold out untill it's all the way warmed up... don't forget now that it's cold, your pipes are going from 20degrees to 200 degrees in a few minutes... when it starts warming up, the pipe collects condensation, and when it gets fully warmed it starts evaporating.... /end science class

i know about moistier but this was enough that i would call it a large amount any time i hit the throttle heavy it done it and it lasted for several blocks not just on craking and initial rev i have built a lot of hot rods in my day and i know all the basics i thought it my be where it was cold and it sent fuel to accomadate for the air sent by sc and couldnt burn the fuel or what i havent delt a lot with fi engines as far as sc and turbo so im not sure what is a problem and what isnt but i do respect all honest answers but i dont need to be talked to like a child please i understand the whole cold start up and moistier thing but this was enough to be a noticable cloud around the car behind me several bloks from where i started thanks
