Whizzing noise from motor

Whenever i accelerate, i can hear this whizzing type noise, coming from the belt side of the motor. I changed the belt and the tensioner and the noise is still there. You can hear it plain as day with the windows down and you can hear it through the vents with the windows up. its fine sitting at idle, if i sit there and rev it, u can hear it for a half second just as you start to rev it also.

What the hell could this be?

i have a noise like that and i dont even have a GM DP anymore.

and as for the whistle 06 Balt mine started whistling after i threw the 2.4 manifold on.

i think its the air hitting that adaptor plate for the mani.

unless youre running stock intake mani.
