Same, I blew the joints off with one of those high pressure air cans and then soaked it in WD40...only squeaks when the car is off now...but I'm not hitting the brake much then... I'll take it in for that eventually as well..

Hmmm....it's been freezing here and get a little bit of squeek first time I use them, typically when backing out of the garage. After that they are quiet. You guys are having constant noise problems?

My last three GM vehicles with 4 wheel disk brakes were noisy stopping going backwards first thing on a cold morning.

Guys I really wouldn't worry about it, from what i have been told is that brakes from a 80 cutlass to an 06 BMW 5 series can squeak.

And mine do squeak on occassion. Should get them checked its been over 6 months.

if the brakes are squeaking when you apply them, thats not necessarily indicative of any problem. if it really bugs you, go to an auto parts store and buy some disc brake quiet by crc (at least thats whats sold around here). its basically red goop in a pouch. if you apply it to the rear (non disc contacting) side of your pads, it helps to keep the pads from chattering against the calipers, which is what causes your squeak. not sure how long it'd take to get the calipers off on this, but i've never seen disc brakes that take more than 5 minutes to do after you get the car up/tire off. if your brakes are chirping/squeaking when you're driving and not using them, check your pads. they should have squeakers that only chirp when car isn't trying to stop to let you know its time to replace your pads.
