why don't my brights work?
In my Gen 1 Projectors.
There are bulbs, the are hooked up correctly.(i've even tried switching them out with ones I KNOW work).
i have 6k hid's in the low beams.
Lights are on normal.. Switch to brights, regular lights turn off and nothing.
anybody else have this problem??
Is there something i missed maybe?
do i need to cross a certain wire?? or...
thanks in advacned

Gens 1s are notorious for this problem which is why i try and convince people to stay away from projectors lol. Check the blue connector. THe pins get bent very easy. If your using H1 halogen bulbs for your high beams then its nothing with us lol Most likely the harness that comes with them from china.

I'm glad you're here!
The bulbs that are in the highs, are the ones that came with the projectors.
I will definitely take a look at the blue connectors and try swapping and see where that gets me!

gen 1's are biggest piece of trash eveerrrrr! mine fogged and all that. my sister has them and there a pain. she had a problem and the low beam wouldnt work. checked everythinnng and it wouldnt work. just touching the wires moving them around makes the leds turn off than back on and flicker. finally i figured out what was wrong and fixed them and never touched them again
gen 4s or retros is a better solution.
gen 4 is one plug thats it and the cutoff isnt that bad. but retros are straight amazing quality

My HID low beams randomly STOPPED WORKING..
Wth?
Well.. Left projector, HID low's stopped working (if they go off it's usually just a matter of disconnecting the ballast and plugging it back in)
Not this time.
Wouldn't go back on, the right projector LOW BEAM HID would work.. So i swapped the ballast over.. Didn't work.. I put it back, now both don't work..
I looked at the wires.. Took off some electrical tape that was on the ground connecting to the low and high beams (just to check) re-wrapped it...
Now my high beams WORK! wtf?!?! and my low beams DO NOT..
Hopefully mkulrey can chime in.. Warranty??
I have a two extra ballasts and I tried those and they wouldn't work either. . .
i wonder what the problem is!
