okay so when i start my car theres this knocking noise coming from the trunk side of the car it litterally sounds like someone's knocking on my trunk or back window 3 times and it always only knocks 3 times. it makes me look back cus i think someones knocking LOL

but today for the first time ever i was at a red light and i heard it.. its kinda scary lol

does anyone else have this problem or knows what it is?

 

nope. never heard of it. maybe you thought you killed someone but they didnt actually die and now they're knocking in your trunk? lol j man the search button is your friend

 

my car does that too, and i am not sure what is is either.

i have a 07 LT BTW if it matters

 

It's the EVAP solenoid

 

this is a very big problem in the cobalt alot of em have it...but ive never had it

 

It's not a problem, it's the EVAP solenoid occasionally self-cleaning

don't worry bout it, its not harmful

it still gets me everytime. I keep thinking like acorn's are falling on my car or something...
