Yet another MIL/CEL problem

Ok, I have a 2005 Cobalt SS/SC. It is entirely stock with about 17,800 miles on it. Driving from Cincinnati to Indiana today the MIL came on solid. Had it checked at a nearby Autozone and come to find that it was something like Lean Bank 1. I did not see the actual code number, but I am sure you all know what it is. That being said, I have read a lot of posts on here and all I keep seeing is people getting these codes after intake installs....I haven't done that yet... Then I found a post somewhere that mentioned that there was a bulletin about this problem. If anyone knows what I am talking about I would appreciate some advice! Also, can someone recommend a decent and inexpensive code scanning tool.

Thanks!!

well Lean Bank 1 leads me to think its a MAF problem......Clean your MAF with electronic cleaner and see if that helps.
