So i was drivin into a Parking Lot a bit ago and i was goin a bit too slow in 2nd gear so i clutched it and the Tach went yo-yo on me, bouncing between 500rpm and 1500rpm, then it died while my car was rolling, i tried to start her up again but it just chugged and didnt pick up, anyways, after having the car Towed (and the god damn tow-truck driver knicking my pipe on a speed-bump(I think he was on drugs)) My dealer here told me that the fuel system was not holding pressure because the number 2 fuel injector wire was shorted to the block! After opening her up the mech told me that it looked like it was installed incorrectly from the factory, so he replaced the wire, gave me an oil change (becuase gas had gotten into the oil from the injector dumping) and now the car actuially runs better then when it only had 40km on it.

 

iv had the tach do that to me before a few times, but not actually die on me

 

at least they correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem. More than I can say for most of what I see here.
