Need new rotors, suggestions and R1 coupons?

It's time I upgrade my rotors, mine are so warped breaking at speeds over 40mph make the steering wheel shake.

First off, what is the difference between Slotted/Drilled and Slotted+Drilled? Any performance difference?

I don't do track or anything crazy it's my daily driver, I'm thinking of going with slotted+drilled for looks...

Someone once told me R1 has a discount for CSS.net like 15% or something, anyone knows the code? I'll be ordering soon

Thanks in advance!

I don't know the code either but I'd love to know as well. I'm thinking of the same thing as you, however, I'm gonna let it warp until I can't stand it no more then I'll upgrade. LOL

Slots- helps with braking power, helps give better brake pad bite, helps with glazing, and disperses gasses a bit too.

Drilled holes - help with lightning up the rotor a bit, help with wet weather traction, and also disperse gases a bit. However, mainly looks nice too.

Which design is stronger, Slotted only hands down.

Yes I do offer a discount for all members here. PM me what you need and I will quote you back at the discounted price and you will be buying through me via CC or Paypal.

Thanks
Steven

I don't know the code but i have ran r1 concepts SLOTTED rotors for about 2 years now and with a lot of highspeed braking, some track days etc they are holding up good and are baaarely feeling like they are warping, which is good in my book.

most would say blank or slotted is good for a street car. slotted and drilled tends to crack easy. the slots kinda help cool the rotors quicker and jet water out from them in the rain.

I've run the R1 premium slotted/cross drilled rotors on my last SS and on my current SS and I have been blown away by the quality and their durability. My last SS went through rotors like crazy but the R1s held up.

Never had any cracks or imperfections however my car is a daily driver, not a track car.

yea, I got the R1 slotted. They are good rotors but I too got the squeak from the Hawk pads. They like to be noisey when they are cold and under low brake force. As soon as they warm up though that sound is gone.

Yeah sorry, I have the same issue on my pads in the morning. That is just the give and take of aggressive pads.
