Why we charge Canadian Funds

Well the obvious reason in that we are a Canadian Company. I always get PM's asking for a total in US funds. Now if you find yourself asking this, remember that we receiving US funds means we have to convert it back to CDN funds which paypal charges us a percent on top of the exchange rate. So this charge will be added to your total.

So the cheaper way is to pay in Canadian Funds and your credit card, bank account, available funds etc. will covert to US for you. Here is an example of how you can pay in Canadian Funds through paypal.

I bought HID kits from a Candadian company for $400 and my credit card charged me a $12 foreign fee. Will that happen if I pay the way you are saying with my credit card?

nope, when the cdn dollar was worth more then us dollar; i went shopping for parts, but paypal converts at the regular echange rate BUT charges a converting or "exchange" fee for converting your money, so i still ended up paying MORE to shop in the us..pissed me off.. the vendor CAN choose to cover the fee, but any money going into your paypal acct and being switched to a different currency gets charged for te switch
