I was just wondering if anyone knew of any recalls on my 06 Cobalt LS? I have been hearing alot about them and when I called the dealer shop he said there was nothing coming up on the computer but a friend told me she heard it on the radio this morning, could it not be on there yet?

 

Maybe do a search? Call dealership? Do some research?

Everyone here will be getting a recall for the electric steer assist fix...

 

Yeah I just heard about the one with the power steering but I also heard something about a water pump and I looked into it and found nothing, but I also called my dealership and the service guy didn't even know about the power steering recall, is it something that won't show up for a day or two?

 

It was just announced on the news this morning so it'll probably be a few weeks before you see anything in the mail...all Cobalts are affected...

lol, im not taking my car in until it happens. but since im the cobalt guy at the dealership, im sure ill be doing all the recalls lmao

 

will the dealership take care of any damages to the car other than the power steering?
