Just out of curiosity what does this kit do? For the price and it doesn't even come with injectors or plugs to handle the extra boost? Our cars start to lean back out at around 5,000rpm where the injectors hit max duty and can't do anymore. It looks like it does the same thing as some sort of AFC/MAF-T it's just got more complex soldering and stuff involved at the same price.

This is very tempting but I am forcing myself to hold out until I see some results on the GM kit. If GM is a flop I will be coming to you. No Intense for me...........

I have interest in saving people money if for $100 more they could have more and safer power. I just want to know why it's only $100 less but with half the parts and tuning. And FYI, you can't pre-tune a car that runs different things than the cars you tested stuff on. An intake even makes a HUGE difference in the tuning required. Do you do the boost bypass mod with this? If so people need to realize they will start to run out of fuel towards the top end and run the injectors at full boar. Not good business if you ask me. Just looking for a little more in depth info than the small amounts posted on here. All I saw were dyno charts and how this "pre-tunes" ignition/fuel tables (Not true, since I doubt you cracked the PCM. Rather it modifies MAF signal like everyone else.). I guess I just want the truth for these people who are running around buyng power blindly for their cars. If you PM me or even call me with in depth details and answer my questions I will remove these posts so as not to make your business look sketchy.

They have proven what your asking time and time again. RevItUp didn't just come out of the wood works. They have been around for quite some time and have made some badass cars before.

Anyways, this thread was not made for a debate, there are numerous other threads that discuss this same issue

SMT6-D > MAFT

The MAF-T can only alert the MAF signal and crudely at that.

The SMT6-D can do a heck of a lot more, alter the maf, map, ignition timing(retard it only), control extra injectors, nitrous trigger.

I am not sure how revitup tunes with the SMT6 but I have done quite a bit of research on it personally.
