55 Hours to detail a car

This guy is insane! There are some good tips in here too.

I wish I had that kind of patience.

I have a friend of the the family that owns a chrome shop and the shop car is a 1500hp replica 1941 ******. When they detial it for shows it takes about 80hrs. Then they take it down the drag strip and get it dirty as hell after the show.

over a full work week. jesus christ.

well, i guess so???

edit; i wonder what that bill was. my cousin works at a detailing shop and its like 170 for a FULL detail inside and out. usually takes 2-3 hours with multiple ppl doing multiple things. thats like 50 an hour.

50x55.... 2750 for that lambo detail.

His personal car is probably neglected. Awesome detail though.

Yeah... thats like I can detail and I have the equipment to do so, but I rarely touch the Cobalt. Mainly just because the birds are going to **** on it in 2 minutes anyways.
