Car Covers

So funds are a little tight right now, as I just got laid off.. and I'm between some temporary work. I've been saving up for a car port to put the car in over winter while I drive my truck.. but I was wondering if I just buy a car cover for now if that would be ok until I am able to afford a car port.

Does a cover damage the paint? I know since I now detail cars I've seen quite a few come through work that the paint on the roof was really moldy and required some work to bring it back to life.. So would mostuire get trapped underneth it and damage my paint at all?

Thanks in advance!

Justin

sometimes covers cause premature rust because the moisture gets trapped. this happened to my 68 nova becuase the kid before me kept it under a cover.

the best way to avoid rust is to put it into a garage. look in to self storage.
