Car Wash Tips
Clay bar it. That's about it really. Some of that stuff may be too ground in to get off with a normal car wash. Other than that, a pressure washer would be a lot of help. Or just spend a lot of time scrubbing the front with a sponge.
my car hasnt seen a hose and soap in months, i just quick detail, quick wax and then sometimes i put another coat of ultimate wax paint is mint and i get compliments all the time
i kind of went off on a tangent there but once you start using quick detailer you wont go back to washing, just dont use it if you have gone mudding in your cobalt or something.
Meguiar's Canada
thats my car
Try wetting some paper towels and then sticking them on the car over the bugs. Should come right off after a few minutes. Bugs like to go on wet and come off wet. Learned that when trying to get my helmet visor clean.
do NOT scrub hard, you will scratch the f*ck out of your paint, firm even pressure will do it. if thats not doing it then use some more "bug and tar remover" or whatever else youre using.
Clay bar man! Works great! If you throw down a good wax after it makes the bugs come off alot easier in the future. There are also a few bug/tar removers out there that work pretty good.

Also, don't leave bugs on the car for too long; many bugs contain acid that eats right through your clear coat if given time!

Steel wool (0000 steel wool) is for metal and should only be used with a lubricant. I wouldn't even use a paper towel to scrub a car's paint let alone steel wool.
NEVER EVER EVER use a razor blade on paint.
Sponge is too abrasive and you will have to do time-consumeing paint correction or wet sanding.
First try high-presure water. If that does not work soak the bugs with soap and water or a beg and tar remover or my favorite Adam's Detail Spray (it just smells the best) until they are soft. Spay off. Remove any left overs with a clay bar.
EPIC FAIL!!!!

I clean the car with high pressure cleaner. Then rinse. I dry the car with a lot of micro-fiber shower carefully and turn the shower regularly. This brings off staying dust. Then I apply wax the whole car and remove off. This keeps a safety buffer. No container needed. The wax makes it easy to clean the car the following weeks time. I do this weekly. I've done this throughout winter season with excellent results and little circulating. I'm amazed how well it works.
